One for The Money Characters

One for The Money, Two for The Show:

Characters :

Melisa Beaumont- I originally had a different woman up, but I felt that even though the original was a lovely woman, Rachel Bilson seems to capture her beauty more effectively. Melisa is a beautiful, rich girl who lives in a small town. She's a freshman in college and she get's decent grades. She's popular, fun, and loves to party. She's from Tennessee originally so she loves herself some beer. She's got one younger sister and her mom and dad.

Dillon Thomas -Dillon Thomas is considered the 'bad boy' of the town, but he's never actually done anything truly bad. He picked up smoking, and helped some friends get away from a robbery, for which he was lucky enough to only get a slap on the wrist. He's never actually been to prison, though gossip has it's way of stretching the truth. He is a troubled young man, his life has been hard and it's taken it's toll, but he's been healing over time.

Rachel Beaumont- While writing this story I came to learn a lot about Rachel. When I first started writing her character, she was being written as the 2 dimensional high school girl character. She was goofy and didn't have a lot of brain cells. However, the more I wrote, the more I learned about her personality. I see Rachel as a very independent, strong young woman who, though still a gossipy teenager, is actually quite bright. Her sister has always overshadowed her a little bit, but she doesn't mind because she's got a back bone of her own and she is very pretty herself.

Eva Brigand - What can I say about Eva? She's not a very nice person. She's stunning on the outside, but if she doesn't get what she wants she's a spoiled brat...to put it nicely. I really adore Eva, but then I don't know an author who doesn't adore their creation, no matter how evil. Despite the fact that she is very wealthy, money does not equal happiness. She herself has had a some what sad life and so that is part of the reason she behaves the way that she does.

Inga Cuthbert - 'The Fairy' A native of Sweden but moved to America a few years before with her family when her mother remarried an American man. She's stunning in an almost unnatural way. She's blunt in such a way that sometimes the things she says come off as callous. She's average in the intelligence area and if you manage to capture her heart in any kind of manner, she'll be loyal to you for life.

Ricky Calhoun - Melisa's ex boyfriend. He's the kind of guy to date a girl for a bet...which of course in this story, he did just that. He's the cliched "hotty with a body", eye candy, jock in High School kind of guy. He's arrogant because of his good looks and his 'charming personality'. He's not the kind of guy you would want your little sister dating.

Will Swanson- After his mothers death he really fell off the deep end. His grades slipped, he got into drugs and alcohol, started stealing and ended up in prison for a number of years. He's actually a really nice guy and he's always been the class clown kind of character. After his last release from prison he decided to fix up his life.

Sarah Swanson- Like her older brother Will, when her mother died she took it really hard. She shaped up after her brothers first prison sentence, but then she lost it again and ran away to join in the ranks of the millions of other prostitutes. When Will and Dillon end up finding her she tries her best to fix her life again. What can she say? Old habits die hard.

Chase Calhoun - Even though his family is kind of uptight and snobby, Chase is actually fairly level headed and kind. He's not a perfect person, and in the end he is a Calhoun, but he works hard to be a good person. He's a jock, but he's not the steriotypical dumb jock.

Kelsie Neilson - It took me a long time to find the person I thought was just right for Kelsie. She had to have the right hair. Even this girl doesn't have the exact shade, it should be a little more on the blonde side, but I really feel like this girl is Kelsie. Kelsie is a party girl and she seems really superficial and slutty, and truly, she kind of is. She's become who she is because of how often her family is away. She's an only child and her parents are never there. While that leave's her in a big old house that's perfect for parties, more often than not, it also leave's her very much alone.
